We are Nacro
We believe that everyone deserves a good education, a safe and secure place to live, the right to be heard, and the chance to start again, with support from someone on their side.
Thatโs why our housing, education, justice, and health and wellbeing services work alongside people to give them the support and skills they need to succeed. And itโs why we fight for their voices to be heard and campaign together to create lasting change.
We see your future, whatever the past.

Service spotlight: Recovery Near You
Recovery Near You (Wolverhampton Substance Misuse Service) is our free, confidential service for anyone in Wolverhampton concerned about their own or someone's drinking or drug and use. The service works to help put their drug and alcohol problems behind them, move on to find a job and rebuild their relationships.

The people we help
Andy was on the streets, homeless, heavily drinking and on probation. He got involved with Nacro Housing through a local drug and alcohol service and was given somewhere to live and support.
"I didnโt see a future for myself or a life at all. All the support and the help I have from the team is incredible. They gave me an opportunity to really turn my life around. Iโve secured a tenancy for myself. My own tenancy. I went to rehab for six months. Now, I volunteer for Nacro.
Itโs changed my life around."
Support Hub for service users
Our support hub offers hundreds of online resources, signposts to other organisations who can help you, and showcases lived experience stories. We off the below and much more.

Meet Stead
I started working for Nacro Housing 15 years ago as a support worker in our project helping men with complex or high needs.
Many had been homeless, have an offending history, an addiction or mental health problems. We help vulnerable people as they rebuild their lives. Across all my years, the one thing that has remained the same is how rewarding this job is. It can be hard, but when you see how far someone's come and is ready to move on and live independently, thereโs nothing better.
